Elizabeth Collis writes short fiction and creative non-fiction. Her work has appeared in Pithead Chapel, Ellipsis Zine, Fictive Dream, The Good Life Review, Tangled Locks Journal, Flash Fiction Magazine, The South Shore Review, and elsewhere, as well as in several anthologies.
Elizabeth’s a winner of the H.R. Percy Short Creative Non-Fiction Prize and The Intrepid Award, and her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize several times.
Elizabeth grew up in the United Kingdom and writes from her home in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Before focusing on writing, Elizabeth was a language teacher, ran a small business, and worked for a non-profit supporting entrepreneurship. She has lived and worked on three continents but is happiest when she is in, on, or beside the Atlantic Ocean.
