Elizabeth Collis (she/her) writes from Nova Scotia, Canada and from the United Kingdom, (where she grew up).
Elizabeth writes short fiction and creative non-fiction. Her work has appeared in Ellipsis Zine, The Good Life Review, Tangled Locks Journal, Progenitor Art and Literary Journal, Flash Fiction Magazine, The South Shore Review, and elsewhere.
She’s the winner of the 2023 H.R. Percy Short Creative Non-Fiction Prize.
In her personal essay blog Nestless and Restless, enjoy Elizabeth’s wry observations on her journeys to explore and re-discover her two homelands and beyond.
Before focusing on writing, Elizabeth was a language teacher, ran a small business, and worked for a non-profit supporting entrepreneurship. She has lived and worked on three continents but is happiest when she is in, on, or beside the Atlantic Ocean.
